Deliverect’s acquisition of ChatFood is a strategic move to expand the company’s offerings and presence in the Middle East. Through the acquisition, Deliverect can now offer a fully integrated online ordering experience for restaurants in the region. In addition, customers of both companies will benefit from the combination of Deliverect’s POS system and ChatFood’s online ordering platform integration.

The acquisition of ChatFood’s technology and customer base is a key step for Deliverect in establishing a strong presence in the Middle East. With the combined strengths of both companies, the food delivery industry in the Middle East is expected to continue to grow and evolve. This acquisition is a strong sign of Deliverect’s commitment to the region and its customers.

Deliverect is a SaaS provider that integrates online orders from food delivery channels into restaurant POS terminals to improve their operational flow. The acquisition will allow Deliverect to expand and support social media, QR codes and direct ordering channels, as well as improve its offerings and advantage in the Middle East.

ChatFood raised a total of $8 million in funding in two rounds. The latest financing was raised on July 27, 2022 in a convertible bond round. ChatFood is funded by five investors:Antler,Wamda Capital, BECO Capital, Zinal Growth and 6G Capital are the most recent investors. The management team is Benjamin Mouflard CEO,Vinicius Rodrigues CTO and Charan Thota Head of Product.
