Baims, a Kuwaiti educational technology company, raised $4 million in Series A funding led by AK Holding, with participation from Al-Wazsan Educational Group, Rasameel Investment House and other investors. This is the first time an edtech startup based in Kuwait has received significant venture capital investment.

Since its launch, Baims has attracted more users from across the Middle East and North Africa. With the new funding, the company plans to accelerate the development of its platform, intensify its marketing efforts and develop new educational content and services.

AK Holding Managing Director Khalid Al Haldi commented on the investment, “We believe that Baims is at the forefront of innovation in educational technology in Kuwait and the region as a whole. We are excited to be part of this venture and look forward to working with Ali and Ahmad as they continue their mission to make education more accessible to all.”
